Miguel Patrick Doyle, nephew to the late Spanish artist, Francisco Baron (himself a student and close freind of Henry Moore) was born in Lusaka, Zambia in 1967 to Irish/Spanish parents. Miguel was raised in Dublins’ northside, Sutton.

From an early age Miguel showed a keen interest for all things to do with the natural world, which unbeknownst to him would inspire him in future works to come. Having worked and travelled at home and abroad (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and Europe) Miguel found himself settling in Co. Donegal, N.W. Ireland. Where by chance or fortune sculpting ‘discovered’ him in May 2000.

A self taught artist, Miguel has to date had some high profile exhibits, The Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast and the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts, Dublin to name a few.

This collection brings together a contemporary and original style still very much in it’s infancy. ’ like a seed sown to the four winds. Only time will reveal the nature and course of it’s development’.
